A Resident’s Perspective
“Turnaround Project have got really strict rules it may seem, but only what you would have in a normal place and normal working aspects. They push you to places you never thought you could go. Also they’ve got a good way of building your self-esteem if you are low in that area. They are drug free as well and you get randomly drug tested. I needed these rules here because if I was going to get out of an old habit and lifestyle quickly. I needed rules put there and no way of getting around them and there is no chance of that so I suggest if you are really serious about changing an old lifestyle that you apply. They will push you and push you and also help in lots of other areas like:
- Housing support
- Life skills
- Cleaning skills
- Budgeting skills
- Help you maintain a tenancy
- Help you get into work
- Help you get into college
- Help you develop cooking skills
“The residents you will meet can range from people in the same area you have come from or maybe people’s first taste of the real world. It’s really good for pressing you on and getting you motivated for the real world."
